The Anti-Cyberbullying Act
Republic Act No.2180
Every social network has been affected by cyberbullying during the popularity of the Internet, the Republic of the Philippines has access to the Internet since so many people have experienced different types of cyberbullying, the Supreme Court declared that every People in philippines has rights.

These are some of the sections we should follow.

10 Sections of the Anti-Cyber bullying Law
Section 1: Short Title – This Act shall be known as the “Anti-Cyber bullying Act of 2013”.
Section 2: Let the definition of “bullying” be an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law.
Section 3: Let the definition of “cyber bullying” be an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law.
Section 4: Offenses against the availability of computer data such as the misuse of social networks is a form of cyberbullying.
Section 5: Some related offenses such as harassment, cyber stalking and flaming are under this bill.
Section 6: Penalties for offenders are as follows: First offense is given a penalty of imprisonment (30 days to a month and a half in prison) or a fine of Php500,000. Second offense is given a penalty of imprisonment (3 months to 4 months in prison) or a fine of Php750,000. Third offense is given a penalty of imprisonment (5 months to 6 months) or a fine of Php950,000.
Section 7: For Harassment(a type of cyberbullying) offenders may be punished with imprisonment(1 year to5 years ) or a fine of Php1,000,000 While Cyberstalking offenders may be punished with imprisonment(10 years to 20 years) or a fine of Php2,500,000 or both.
Section 8: To help in making a cyber security plan, the creation of a Cyberbullying Investigation Center(CIC) will help in the program.

Section 9 : The government could send the authorities to check websites and find evidence/s of cyberbullying.
Section 10: This bill shall go into effect immediately after passage.
